James and Sarah went out to lunch. The price of the lunch for both of them was $20. They tipped their server 20% of that amount. How much did each person pay if they shared the price of lunch and the tip equally?

12.00 because 12.00 is 20% of $20

you would take 20 × .2 and then take that awnser and add it to 20 dollars, then ÷that awnser by 2 and you will get your final amount. ( awnser: $12.00 )
