Answer: The given statement is False.

Sahara desert is the largest hot desert present in the world. The central part is the driest region which receives less than 1 inch of annual rainfall. Other parts of Sahara receives upto 4 inches of annual rainfall. Moreover, the temperature reaches upto 134 degree Fahrenheit in the day time.

Due to this, it has very dry and harsh climatic conditions. No glassland exists under such harsh conditions. Therefore, grazing herbivores ( which feeds mainly on grasses) are not supported by this desert.
