Adipose tissue is a tissue found in the loose connective tissue. it protects, insulates, and stores fat. in is located beneath skin, around kidneys, behind eyeballs, and on the surface of the heart. consists of many closely packed, thick, collagenous fibers and a fine network of elastic fibers.
