Answer

One factor of the equation
2x^(4) + 22x^(3) + 60x^(2) is x + 5 .

Option (d) is correct.

Reason

As the equation in the question is as follows

= 2x^(4) + 22x^(3) + 60x^(2)

simplify the above

Taking 2x² as a common part

= 2x²(x² + 11x + 30 )

= 2x² (x² + 5x + 6x + 30)

= 2x²(x(x+5) +6(x + 5))

= 2x²(x + 5)(x + 6)

Therefore the factors are 2x² , (x +5) , (x + 6) .
