I JUST WANT OPINIONS.. I disagree because black and white makes me think sad or gloomy, when colors you can get any emotion like sad, happy, exited ect..

"Emotions are always much easier to portray with Black and White, because of the stark contrasts and the sharp focus on the subject.” (Bob Snell)
Do you agree or disagree with this statement? Why?

I think emotions are best portrayed in the way they were originally expressed, whether it be in black and white, monotone, sepia, color, thermal...l could go on an on

I am red- green colorblind so what see obviously isn't just black and white but colors to me aren't as bright. I would have to disagree because of what turning a normal movie into a black and white really does. Imagine the movie 'up' in black and white, NO WAY you're anywhere as happy seeing all those balloons come out. Long story short, colors are much easier in portraying emotions.
