All of the energy that drives Earth’s rock cycle comes from Earth’s interior and the sun. If erosion did not occur, no rock cycle would happen. It would end up having large amounts of igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary rocks. No finer rocks can be found and no flat lands can be seen.
