To begin, slope-intercept form is: y= mx+b

• m is the slope
• b is the y-intercept

Let's find the y-intercept (b) first. When x=0, we are at the y-intercept. Using the graph, we can see y = 4 when x = 0

b = 4

Now, let's find the slope. Using the graph, the formula for slope is rise/run. To get from (-3,-2) to (-1,2), you rise 2 units and go right one unit. Our slope is positive. 2/1= 2

Note: if you are looking to find slope from coordinate points instead of using the graph, the formula would be
\frac{y{2}-y{1} }{x{2}-x{1}}

m = 2

Let's put our equation together:
y= 2x + 4

Hope this helps! :)

y= mx+b
m is slope which is rise/run
b is y intercept
so equation would be

Y= 2x+4

Hope this help!!:)
