The metamorphic rocks are the secondary rocks that are formed when a rock undergoes changes due to the changing heat and pressure conditions. They are derived from either sedimentary or igneous or other metamorphic rocks. For example, Quartzite, Marble, Schist and Gneiss.

The metamorphic rock marble is formed when the sedimentary rock named limestone undergoes changes because of the increase in the temperature and pressure condition. Marble is widely used in the sculptures, paving stones, and also to make monuments.
