According to Malala, the Taliban violated the rights to education of women through violence to discourage girls and prevent the promotion of female schooling. A clear example of this is the same Malala, who suffered an attack (a bullet in the head) by this extremist group, making it a target to kill her. Malala says that girls were not allowed to wear colored clothes so as not to disturb to the talibans. The girls wore street clothes so as not to be identified as students and they even had to hide their books. The Taliban executed those who did not comply with their laws and imposed the closing of schools for girls.
