Both Singin' in the Rain and The Wizard of Oz include musical and dance numbers. How do the musical/dance pieces compare in the two films? Which film makes better use of music and dance? Why?

I think Singin' in the Rain has more song and dance, and it's better and goes along with the story. The wizard of oz, on the other hand, could have left out the singing and dancing and might have been a better movie. But in Singin' in the Rain, the music is what takes the cake to the movie, and just ties the whole thing together. Hope this helps! :)
