What is the value of the expression 8^-2

The answer is 0.015625. I know that's long, but it's because when you have a negative exponent, you put the number below 1? So in 8^2 you're doing 8^2/1, which is the same thing, but in 8^-2, you're doing 1/8^2. This is 1/64, which is equivalent to 0.015625. I know it's pretty confusing but let me know if you still don't get it :)

It would be 64 if the -2 is an exponent.
