Bonnie and Bobby are saving money for vacation. Bonnie has $12 and saves $4 per week.

Bonnie made a table to show how much she saves in a given week.

Bobby has $4 and saves $12 per week.

Bobby wrote an equation to determine how much he saves in a given week.

y=12x+4

After saving for a certain number of weeks, Bonnie and Bobby will have each saved the same amount of money. How much money will they have each saved then?

Y=12x+4

x= number of weeks

Bonnie has $12 and saves $4
Bobby has $4 and saves $12
since it is the same equation you get the same answer
12+4=16
4+12=16

so
y=12x+4

12x1+4=16

It will only take one week for them to have the same ammount of money
