by using the equation y-y1=m (x-x1) you can plug in your coordinates(2 into y1,-4into x1) and your slope (9/2 in for m) you get your equation y-2=9/2 (x+4) this is the equation of a line that has a slope of 9/22nd and passes through the point (-4,2)
