The gland that secretes melatonin is the Pineal Gland. The pineal gland secretes a single hormone- melatonin. This hormone is special because its secretion is dictated by light. Melatonin has two main functions in humans, to help control your circadian (or biological) rythum and regulate certain reproductive system
