Is central america considerded to be a territory

If by "territory" you mean continent, then no. Central America (and the Caribbean) are both technically part of the North American continent. Though the United Nations geoscheme has Central America as it's own subregion that also includes Mexico, it is widely taught and seen that Central America is just a region, not it's own continent.
