Well they painted HALF the room in 3/4 of an hour.
That means that, considering they keep up the same speed, it will take them 3/4 of an hour to do the OTHER half.
This means that it will take them....
1 and 1/2 hours to do their entire room.

So if they painted 1/2 of the room in 3/4 of an hour ( 45 minutes ) then it would take them another 45 minutes to paint the other half of the room. So 45+45= 90. So 90 minutes, or an hour and a half. Hope this helped! :)
