1212/2 = 606; 606 = how ling it takes to walk one mile. 606 * 3 = 1818.

Take 1212 and divide it by 2 and you get 606 which is how long it takes per mile .So I took 1212 and added 606 and got 1818.And to check the division take 606+606 and it = 1212.
The answer is 1818 hours. hope this helps
