Expression: p x $2.15 + $5 = x

Solution:

28 x $2.15 + $5 = x

28 x $2.15 = $60.20

$60.20 + $5 = $65.20

Answer: $65.20

I hope this helps! :)

Answer: 2.15p +5

$65.2 for a 28 pages report.

Explanation:

Hi, to answer this question we have to write an expression with the information given.

The total earnings of Kyle will be equal to the product of the number of pages of the report (p) and the price per page (2.5) plus the cost of supplies (5).

Mathematically speaking:

Kyle's earnings= 2.15p +5

For a 28 page report we substitute p=28 in the equation:

Kyle's earnings= 2.15(28) +5 = 60.2+5= $65.2
