1/2(3x-12)=1/6(9x-6)
3/2x-6=9/6x-1
3/2x=9/6x+5
3/2x-9/6x=5
9/6x-9/6x=5
0=5
Which is false so it is inconsistent.
Hope this helps :)

multiply bth sides by 6
3(3x-12)=9x-6
9x-36=9x-6
minus 9x from both sides
-36=-6
false
inconsistent
