It's an eletrophilic addition across a double bond, double bond attacks the H+ and creates a carbocation then the lone pairs on the oxygen on the methanol attack the carbocation which forms a protonated alcohol, water comes in and the hydrogen is taken off.The final product is 2-methoxybutane
