the east African slave trade in the 1600's was operated within Africa, Europe and Asia while the Atlantic slave trade in the 1700's also included the America's. in the 1700 more slaves from West Africa were sent to the Caribbean than to South America . in the 1800's about the same amount of slaves were sent from West africa to both places
