The difference in voltage between the ends of ANY component
in an electrical circuit is

(the current through it) times (its resistance) .

That goes for a resistor, a heating coil, a light bulb, or a piece of wire.
Of course, the resistance of the wire is made as small as possible, so
the difference of voltage between the two ends of a wire will also be
very small.
