Should you always run to a doorway during an earthquake? Why or why not?

Because a doorway is stronger than the ceiling

Not always, because depending on the situation leaving the current spot one is in can be deemed more hazardous. For example, if there are multiple obstacles like glass vases and other fragile items, your best bet is to stay put under a hard desk or something else sturdy. I hope I helped! :)
