I have the surface area of a cube(1014 cm2) and i need to know how to get the side lengths out of the surface area. can anyone help? need this for an exam review for tomorrow

Okay, so we know that a cube has 6 sides. And we know the total surface area of a cube, which is 1014 cm2. This means that if we want to know the area of one side, we only have to divide 1014 by 6.
1014 / 6 = 169 cm2 (the area of a single side of the cube)

To calculate the length of one side, we need to take the square root of 169. So:
√169 = 13
This means that the length of one side is 13 cm.
