How are the English Bill of Rights and the Magna Carta similar?

both worked to render the king powerless
both were concerned with the natural rights of man
both limited the king’s power and gave power to citizens
both worked to set up a multi-branched government

right, both of them are limits on the power of the government. a second similarity is that they are both written contracts of sorts that spell out what governments can and cannot do.
