You can do it in two ways, its either vertical or horizontal and it will look like this,
The 1st way: 2x^2 - 6x - 4
-4x^2 - 4x + 3

or 2x^2 - 6x - 4 -( -4x^2 - 4x + 3) = 0
This is the 2nd way

The answer is still 2x^2 + 2x + 7 = 0.
