No matter what type of polygon you have, the sum of the exterior angles is always equal to 360°. Each exterior angle of the hexagon described above is equal to (4x + 15). Therefore,

(4x + 15) (6) = 360

Solving for x,

x = 11.25

Sum of exterior angle of a polygon is 360°
A regular hexagon has 6 equal exterior angles.
6(4x + 15) = 360
4x + 15 = 360/6 = 60
4x = 60 - 15 = 45
x = 45/4 = 11.25
x = 11.25
