To answer this question, take the number of flowers in a dozen and multiply it by the number of dozens sold.
9 dozen times 12 flowers per dozen equals 108 flowers sold.

If there are 12 in a dozen, and there are 9 dozen flowers, then the answer is 108. They sold 108 sunflowers.
