Since you have answer choices you would want to try them, so first put the square root of 51-2 = 7. Minus two then find the square root of 49, and it so happens to be 7.

it's A because to remove the radical you do x-2 squared and 7 squared which you will get x-2=49 and then subtract -2 from 49 which gives you 51
