What is the relationship between Sample Size and the width of the Confidence Interval? Please explain further as to why

I think the relationship is that they are both sizes to do with math but I could be wrong/

The relationship between Sample Size and the width of the Confidence Interval is that the larger the sample size, the narrower the confidence interval.
This means that the width of the confidence interval will go down if the sample size goes up, because you are placing a larger value in the denominator.
