The speed of the plane through the air is 430 mph, and you described a day when the wind was blowing at 20 mph.

Assuming that Rp = speed of the plane and Rw = speed of the wind
450 = Rp + Rw
410 = Rp - Rw
(add both equations)
860 = 2Rp
Rp = 430
