575 because you add the 526 and 98 then subtract the 49 to get your answer

Don = 526 + 98 = 624 lettuce heads Don = 49 + Linda 624 = 49 + Linda 624-49 = Linda 575 = Linda Therefore, Linda planted 575 heads of lettuce.
