The only bestselling novel of Sherwood Anderson was "Dark Laughter" (1925). Even though he was not a prolific author, Anderson was very gifted both for writing and recognizing talent in other people, such as Hemingway himself, as well as Faulkner. He influenced Thomas Wolfe too. Anderson introduced Hemingway not only to Gertrude Stein, but also to Ezra Pound.
