y = x² + 4 x - 6 = ( x² + 4 x + 4 ) - 4 - 6 = ( x + 2 )² - 10
Answer:
The vertex form of this equation is:
y = ( x + 2 )² - 10
Coordinates of the vertex are: x = - 2, y = - 10
or : ( -2, - 10 ).
