Laura is working on an art project she needs a rusty iron nail for her art work so she places a shiny new nail outside in it wet locations how will the air and water change the nail

It will make a chemical change that will make the iron rust in contact with oxygen and water.

Water is something that leads things to rust. Exposure to air also leads things to rust. Exposure to both of them will completely rust the nail if given time.
