so 4 squared means 4 times 4=16

16 is how much bigger than the square root of 4

square root of 4=x when 4=x times x

we know that 2 times 2=4 so square root of 4=2

16 is how much bigger than 2
16-2=14

it is 14 bigger

Four squared is how much bigger than the square root of 4
