(-1,2)(5,2)
notice how both ur sets of points have the same y value (2).... This means u have a horizontal line with a 0 slope. Ur equation would be y = 2....in general form, it would be : y - 2 = 0

we know that

the equation of the line in standard form is equal to

Ax+By+C=0

where

A,B and C are real numbers

In this problem we have

A(-1,2)\ B(5,2)

Find the slope of the line AB

The formula to calculate the slope is equal to

m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

substitute the values

m=(2-2)/(5+1)

m=(0)/(6)

m=0

The line is parallel to the x-axis

The equation of the line is the y-coordinate of the points that passes through the line

y=2

Convert to general form

y-2=0

therefore

the answer is the option

y-2=0
