Use distibutive property
13g + 8k - 2g
Subtract 2g from 13g
Final Answer: 11g + 8k

Expand the brackets:
13g+(2*4k)+(2*-g)
13g+8k-2g
Group and combine like terms:
13g-2g+8k
11g+8k
