How did the colonist react to the no taxation without representation

In response to taxation without representation, the colonists were very angry and frustrated. One way they protested was by purchasing domestic products, as imports from Britain were highly taxed. Another way they protested was by the Boston Tea Party, where over 100 colonists dumped over 45 tons of tea into the Boston Harbor, which would cost around $1 million worth of tea nowadays! In response to the Tea Party, Britain closed the Boston Harbor as punishment, which cut off transportation and trade. Hope this helps! :)
