ltaire himself tutored and held correspondence with Frederick the Great (Friedrich II) and many of the King's ideas were inspired from the Enlightenment and surely from Voltaire himself as well. Religious freedom is an example of a policy quite well ahead of its time that Frederick instilled in Prussia.
