The right answer is salt .

In chemistry, a salt is an ionic compound composed of cations and anions forming a neutral product and without net charge. These ions can be as well inorganic (Cl- chloride) as organic (CH3COO- acetate) and monoatomic (F- fluoride) as well as polyatomic (SO4 (2-) sulfate).

Salt solutions in water are called electrolytes because they conduct electricity.

Molten salts are just as conductive as electrolytes.
