x = 11
Explanation:
5x-10=3x+12
5x-3x=12+10
2x=22
x =11

The answer to this equation is x=11
5(x-2) = 3(x+4)
5x-10 = 3x+12
-3x -3x
2x-10 = 12
+10 +10
2x = 22
x= 11
