If white glue is used to seal the stomata on the underside of plant leaves, what will happen to the leaves and why?

Stomata open and close to allow the intake of carbon dioxide and the release of oxygen. It's very important that they do this, because this is the very oxygen that we ourselves need to breathe!
If it is glued shut the leaf will die.

The leaves would die becasue the stomata helps bring water to the plant and without that the leaves would die.
