Feld is a father who wants the best for his daughter. He works hard and is growing old. According to Feld, Max is an educated person but he has no soul and he is only interested in things. Feld finally lets go of his imaginative dreams for his daughter and come to terms with the fact that he can no longer control Mariam, his daughter's life.
