Although historically there have been times when the two religions mutually respected each other and scriptures were translated into languages such as Persian or into various Hindi languages, as time progressed, especially towards modern times, religious violence started becoming more and more extreme and the Indian Anti-Muslim sentiment became so developed that even genocides were committed.
