yes because 1/4 and 2/8 can have the same denominator of 8 whitch would turn 1/4 into 2/8. and that makes sence because 4x2=8(the bottom denominator and since u did 4x2 u have to do 1x2 whitch gives u 2...put that together and you have 2/8 yes they ate the same amount
