Why someone might use illegal drugs?

To fit in, peer pressure, felt obligated to, and to try to get there mind off of things like depression or anxiety.

Some people are really depressed and want to find an escape. Many different types of illegal drugs alter the mind and help forget things. When they take drugs they feel as if their problems have been stripped away however, they are becoming a different person and they are harming their bodies.
