Thus, multiply boyh length and width by 2 and then add them. The equation will be as follows.

Perimeter of rectangular garden = 2 × length + 2 × width

= 2[4 − 7(3x + 4y)] + 2[3x(−2y)]

= 2[4 - 21x -28y] + 2[-6xy]

= 8 - 42x - 56y -12xy

Thus, we can conclude that the perimeter of given rectangular garden is (8 - 42x - 56y -12xy).
