When Hitler came into power he promised that he would rebuild the German army. Later on Hitler started accusing the Jews of making them lose WW1. So in 1939 the German army invaded Poland. That was the start of a Blitzkrieg strategy which means lightning war. In 1940 Germany invaded Czechoslovakia, Denmark, Norway, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxemburg. In 1941 Germany invaded France and Greece. Nearly 11 million Jews were slaughtered.
