Does the whole milk stop moving at equilibrium when drop into water ? need explaination please :)

Its the Osmosis which is defined as
diffusion of water through the cell membrane that may be in to or out of the cell
•Osmosis is the diffusion of water (H2O) through selectively permeable membrane
that allow some substance can pass across them and others cannot
